Event Terms
How reservations, capacity, waitlists, cancellation and conduct work at any Intelligentsia gathering.

Reservations
Every gathering publishes its access state, capacity, reservation mode and guest allowance. A reservation is personal and is confirmed only when the house confirms it. Where a gathering is full, reservations join the waitlist in the order received and are promoted as places open.
The address
Each gathering sets its own disclosure rule: published address, address on confirmation, address on the day, or shared in person only. Please do not republish an address that was given to you privately.
Cancellation and absence
Release a place you cannot use at least twenty four hours before the gathering so that someone waiting can take it. Repeated unreleased absences may pause reservation privileges. Individual gatherings may state a stricter policy, and where they do, that policy governs.
Ticketed gatherings
Where a gathering is ticketed, the ticket terms shown at the point of purchase govern price, transfer and refund.
Privacy of the room
Each gathering states whether it is on the record, off the record, no photography, or no recording of any kind. Off the record means nothing said is attributed or repeated outside the room.
Conduct
The house may ask anyone to leave a gathering where conduct is unsafe, harassing or dishonest, and may decline future reservations.
Changes and cancellation by the house
Programming can change. Where the house moves or cancels a gathering, confirmed guests are told as soon as the house knows, and any amount paid specifically for that gathering is returned.
Your own safety
You attend at your own risk in respect of ordinary social activity. Tell the house about access needs or allergies in advance and we will do what a venue reasonably allows.
